Proud to represent SME Housebuilders at No. 10.
Managing Director, Andrew Rinaldi, was one of a select group of SME home builders invited to 10 Downing Street, alongside the CEO and Executive Director of the HBF. The discussion focused on the challenges facing smaller housebuilders and the crucial role SMEs play in tackling the housing crisis.
Andrew shared his thoughts on the meeting:
“We welcome the government’s ambition and are pleased to be part of the solution in supporting their goal to deliver 1.5 million homes over the next five years. Their willingness to engage with SME housebuilders is encouraging, and we look forward to working together to address and overcome the many challenges facing our industry.”
SME home builders have historically been a driving force in delivering high-quality, diverse homes, yet they continue to face significant barriers—ranging from planning complexities and access to land, to material costs and funding constraints. Engaging directly with government provides an opportunity to highlight these challenges and work towards solutions that support growth, innovation, and ultimately, more homes for buyers.
With SMEs playing a key role in shaping the future of housebuilding, open dialogue and proactive policy changes will be essential.
